We are very thrilled to announce that, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) honored Miss Nepal USA 2012- Astha Shrestha as Goodwill Ambassador of NTB for 2013. We would like to congratulate Miss Nepal USA 2012, Ashtha Shrestha and also like to express our sincere appreciation to Government of Nepal & Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) for this historical honor. Indeed, this opportunity and recognition not only add glory to the Miss Nepal USA event but it will also encourage millions of Nepalese youths globally to promote Nepali art and culture and diversity in an international arena and take pride in our national heritage collectively and more responsibly while embracing their beauty with pride and dignity.
Officiating CEO of NTB Subash Nirola presented ‘HONARARY GOODWILL AMBASSADOR 2013’ today to Miss Nepal USA 2012- Astha Shrestha during a ceremony organized by NTB at NTB Auditorium, Kathmandu Nepal. The Hon’ble Minister Mr. Posta Bahadur Bogati, -Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation,Government of Nepal also address and congratulate Miss Nepal USA 2012- Astha Shrestha for this historical achievement and honor. Many others Nepal Government officials, Tourism sectors stakeholders and hundreds of media personalities were also witness of this historical ceremony.
It has given us great joy and pleasure to have the opportunity to organize Miss Nepal US (AKA Miss Nepal USA / Miss Nepal America) with support of E Planet Pvt. Ltd, Nepal. It has not been an easy task and we feel humbled to see the realization of this project in the manner envisioned. Miss Nepal US (A) event is definitely not only a beauty pageant with the mission to empower youth and honor the hidden talent, but also a means to show the world and promote Nepal’s beauty, culture, and significance. The success of the event last year and this year as well in New York and Washington DC respectively has undoubtedly motivated us to continue this saga in future as well. Now, we are even more than just delighted to put our experience and skills together with required improvements as well as slight modification to come up with even a bigger and successful event in future with support and collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board.
