Due to an overwhelming last minute applications and participation requests, the board of directors and the organizers would like to announce an extension in the application deadline for the Miss Nepal US 2015 to July 31st 2015. The 5th Chapter of Miss Nepal US is taking place on August 22nd 2015 at the Concert Hall of NY Society of Ethical Culture, New York.
As each year the Miss Nepal US pageant adapts and brings awareness regarding socio-cultural agendas, this year, enduring the emotions from the recent disaster that has scarred Nepal, Miss Nepal US is embracing a theme of ‘Walk to Rebuild Nepal’. This initiative will be portrayed during the Grand Finale event as a separate segment where past participants, title and sub title holders, others international models and distinguished celebrities will walk together on stage to promote and support the effort of rebuilding Nepal. This is a fantastic opportunity for you, our prestigious participants, to come to the Grand Finale of Miss Nepal US 2015 and show your support by becoming a part of this initiative.
This year’s event will primarily be focused on charity, funds transparency, and accountability for Nepal’s earthquake disaster relief in the hopes of recovering and rebuilding Nepal. We are also very thrilled to announce that we are partnering with UNICEF United States Fund and Nepal Government’s PM Fund for Disaster with the commitment of maximum utilization of all collected fund to support the earthquake victims. Furthermore, this year’s event will be hosted by famous American media personality and celebrity Kiran Chetry and famous Nepali Bollywood Actress and Goodwill Ambassador of Nepal Government PM Fund for Disaster; Manisha Koirala will be gracing us with her presence at the Grand Finale of Miss Nepal US 2015. With the most coveted crown, this year winners of Miss Nepal US will get up to 10,000 USD matching founding to support her initiative dedicated to earthquake victims and/or Rebuild Nepal Project.
Here is a chance for every young aspiring girl, who has traveled to this ‘land of opportunity’, to work closely with famous personalities and be a youth icon for the young generation by leading and completing the ‘Rebuilding Nepal’ initiative.
